June 29 – Buttercrunch Day

Before today I did not know what buttercrunch was. This is apparently not uncommon, as those who make the sweet often label it as toffee. The key difference being buttercrunch is covered in something; whether is be nuts or chocolate. Toffee that is not coated in anything is the traditional english kind, but this is what I have been calling buttercrunch also. For reference, this is what is looks like:
